For Akshardham Temple Gandhinagar, he wrote that, "Last night went to the Akshardham temple for darshan and to the Laser Water show...exquisite! A must see. Design, technology, faith... Boarded for Jamnagar and then by road to Porbandar, birthplace of Gandhiji...Closer my Mahatma to thee. Through with Ahmedabad and Sabarmati Ashram, now on to Porbandar...such history, culture and sentiments” He was continuing shooting at Lothal, Adalaj and Porbandar. Big B visited Mahatma Gandhiji birthplace Kirti Mandir with Ashmavati Ghat and Chopati in Porbandar and offered flowers there before starting the shooting.

(3) As per Amitabh Bachchan Blog Updation about Gujarat Visit, he wrote that, “It is so distressing to see little kids suffer. It breaks one's heart, but when you find yourself in their presence, you put up a brave face and tell them that all will be well soon. This little one loved Bhootnath' and Baghbaan' and a smile filled up her face when she talked of these films.”

"What has been most rewarding has been the attitude of the people (in the region). They have been exemplary, no screaming or shouting... no disturbance.. just a huge amount of people, there in disciplined and orderly (manner), expressing their love and affection," he wrote on his blog.
